This is the first attack of this kind carried out by a U.S. submarine since World War II. «In the Indian Ocean yesterday, a U.S. submarine sank an Iranian warship in international waters. We sank it using a torpedo. It was the first sinking of an enemy ship with a torpedo since World War II,» Hegseth stated at a press conference.
