Madrid (EFE).- Today, Galicia is on orange alert due to winds and waves in Lugo. Seven other regions are under yellow warning for these conditions, particularly on the Cantabrian coast and in the Mediterranean. Asturias, Catalonia, the Basque Country, and the Valencia Community are on yellow alert for winds and swell. Cantabria is under alert for swell, while Castilla and León and La Rioja are under alert for winds. In Galicia, A Coruña is on orange alert due to south-west winds that can reach 74 kilometres per hour and waves of 4 to 5 metres, with the possibility of 6 metres in A Mariña. Lugo is under a yellow warning for gusts of wind of up to 80 kilometres per hour, also affecting the Cantabrian coastline with intensities of up to 90 kilometres per hour. A yellow warning has been issued for the southern coastline and pre-coastal area of Tarragona, northern interior of Castellón, and the interior of Valencia, where gusts of 80 kilometres per hour are expected.
