They call for a conviction of former Attorney General García Ortiz to investigate a leak from Judge Peinado’s court.

Cristina Álvarez’s lawyer has submitted a document to Judge Juan Carlos Peinado requesting that an investigation be conducted regarding a leak from the court, citing the ruling that convicted the former Attorney General of the State, Álvaro García Ortiz, for the disclosure of confidential information. In the document, Álvarez’s lawyer, who is being investigated by the judge alongside Begoña Gómez, asks the court to initiate a separate procedure to clarify the leak to Okdiario of a resolution issued in January, in which the Police were ordered to report on the efforts made to obtain the passports of both individuals, a request that was unsuccessful. This defence requests that the demand for the passports and any other documentation from the individuals under investigation be annulled, as it infringes upon their right to remain silent. The document states that the resolution is dated 12th January, but the court did not send it to the Lexnet system for notification to the parties until 13th January, after eight in the evening.
