They have rescued the body of the mountaineer trapped by an avalanche in the Bielsa Valley (Huesca).

The Civil Guard has retrieved the body of a man who was buried by a landslide in Urdiceto, in the Bielsa Valley, in the Huesca Pyrenees, as reported by the 112 emergency services. In the operation, several experts from the Civil Guard, along with rescue dogs, have been working since that afternoon. A mountaineer was caught by an avalanche while using snowshoes. Emergency services were alerted around 8:00 PM, after his companion managed to reach the Urdiceto Refuge to report the situation. This morning, the body was found. The location where the avalanche occurred is approximately a three-hour hike from the refuge. The Government of Aragon is requesting caution and reminding people of the recommendations to prevent avalanches. Once the rescue operation was completed, the team remained at the Urdiceto Refuge awaiting evacuation by the Civil Guard helicopter.
