After the announcement of the change in the Ministry of Education, Science and Universities of the Community of Madrid, with Emilio Viciana as the new head, the spokesperson for the PP in this area in the Assembly of Madrid, Pablo Posse, along with two female members of the same party, Mónica Lavín and Carlota Pasarón, have decided to resign from their posts, as confirmed by parliamentary sources. Lavín held the position of spokesperson for Social Policy of the Popular Group in the regional Assembly until her resignation, while Pasarón was the spokesperson for Youth. Posse publicly announced his resignation during the Education Commission that took place this Tuesday in the Assembly, where he also announced the dismissal of two general directors of the Ministry: Nicolás Javier Casas, in charge of Universities, and María Luz Rodríguez de Llera, responsible for Secondary Education, Vocational Training, and Special Regimes. During the commission meeting, Posse read a message sent to him by both general directors informing him that they would be leaving their positions and expressing their gratitude to the parliamentary spokespersons for their work in the commission. Subsequently, Posse recognised the work of Viciana and the regional president, Isabel Díaz Ayuso, for the trust placed in them over the years. Following Posse’s announcement, the resignation of the parliamentary leaders in Social Policy and Youth became known.
