Three weeks of war in the Middle East: attacks continue and doubts linger over Hormuz.

The Middle East region has entered its third week of clashes with no signs of a reduction in tension, and questions are arising about the situation in the Strait of Hormuz, blocked by Iran in the context of the conflict. Israeli forces carried out bombings in Beirut and Tehran, while the Iranian government attacked military facilities of the United States and cities such as Tel Aviv and Haifa. The Treasury Department has granted temporary permission for the buying and selling of Iranian oil in maritime transit, although the Iranian Government has denied having crude oil reserves available for international markets.
