Trump made this statement on Truth Social following comments from the President of Iran, Masud Pezeshkian, who indicated that his nation has chosen to cease attacks against neighbouring countries, unless it is attacked from those places. Trump stated that this capitulation is due to the assault by the United States and Israel, nations that launched an offensive last Saturday against the Islamic Republic, resulting in the death of the Iranian Supreme Leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei. The President of the United States described Iran as the loser of the Middle East and declared that it will suffer a blow today. He warned that, due to Iran’s conduct, they are evaluating areas and groups of people that they had previously not considered as targets.
