This Sunday, the President of the United States, Donald Trump, stated that he maintains communication with Iran, although he expressed scepticism about Tehran’s willingness to engage in negotiations to end the intervention that began 16 days ago. Trump also mentioned that he is in dialogue with various nations to create a coalition to monitor the Strait of Hormuz, in line with his request this weekend for allied countries to collaborate. However, during talks with reporters on the presidential plane returning from Mar-a-Lago to Washington this Sunday, he refrained from detailing which nations he has spoken to in order to form this international coalition.
