Trump launches his Peace Board and promises to go beyond Gaza and revitalise the UN

Washington. This Thursday, the U.S. President, Donald Trump, inaugurated the first meeting of his Peace Board, committing to expand his efforts to end conflicts to a global sphere that transcends Gaza, in addition to collaborating with the UN to restore the credibility of the system. Trump commented that conflicts around the world can be addressed thanks to this group of people. The leader took advantage of the resolution of the conflict between Israel and Hamas in the Strip, signed in Egypt last October, to strengthen the position of the organisation, which the majority of global actors have opposed. In his opening speech, Trump emphasised that most of the nations invited to be part of the organisation have already given their approval, and those who have not yet done so will do so. He revealed that Norway had committed to hosting an event for the entity in the near future.
