London.- This Tuesday, the President of the United States, Donald Trump, expressed his disapproval towards the British government for deciding to cede sovereignty of the Chagos Islands to Mauritius, an action he described as a «GREAT STUPIDITY» on his Truth Social platform. Before travelling to Switzerland to attend the World Economic Forum in Davos, the Republican leader mentioned that the cession of the Chagos is a reason for his nation to have control over the island of Greenland, which is part of the Kingdom of Denmark. «The United Kingdom’s decision to relinquish territories is an act of GREAT FOOLISHNESS, and it adds to a list of national security reasons that justify the acquisition of Greenland,» stated the President of the USA.
