Trump will chastise any country that «does business» with Iran with a 25% tariff.

The President of the United States, Donald Trump, claimed that any country engaging in trade transactions with Iran will face a 25% tariff imposed by Washington, representing an effort in the campaign to weaken the Tehran government. Trump stated that this measure is immediate and definitive. He mentioned that any nation establishing trade relations with Iran will have to pay a 25% tax on all trade transactions with the United States. Trump’s warning comes after a report stating that Iranian Foreign Minister Abás Araqchi contacted Steve Witkoff, Trump’s special envoy for the Middle East and Ukraine, with the aim of reducing tensions with Washington.
