Two attacks on gas infrastructure in Iran, according to Iranian agency.

According to the Iranian agency Fars, in the early hours of this Tuesday, two projectiles struck a gas pipeline in Khorramshahr, in the southwest of Iran, as well as buildings at a gas station in Isfahan, in the centre of the country. Details regarding these impacts emerged following the announcement by United States President Donald Trump, who decided to postpone any attack on Iran’s energy infrastructure for a period of five days. According to Fars, the attack in Isfahan hit a building and a pressure reduction point at the gas station, in addition to affecting nearby buildings. The assault that impacted the gas pipeline in Khorramshahr, located near a power plant, resulted in no injuries. Furthermore, it has been reported that on 18 March, Israel carried out bombings at the gas facilities of Pars Sur, which belong to the gas field shared by Iran and Qatar, in an action that did not involve the participation of the United States.
