Pepa Millán, a representative of Vox in Congress, has expressed her disagreement with Alberto Núñez Feijóo’s decision to meet with Pedro Sánchez at a difficult time for the PSOE. She pointed out that this meeting could affect the possible agreements between her party and the PP. «We will take note of this,» Millán warned when asked if this meeting affects negotiations in Extremadura or other regions. She also mentioned that it is unacceptable for Vox to be offered the possibility of joining the Extremadura Government while the PP leader meets with the President of the Executive. Sánchez and Feijóo will meet on Monday to discuss foreign policy and defence issues, including the possible deployment of Spanish troops to Ukraine. Millán has stated that the meeting hampers the change that Spain requires and that if that change is not achieved, it will be the fault of the PP, which seeks to get closer to the President of the Government. Millán has criticised the PP for not paying attention to what Spaniards think or what is happening in the streets. With Monday’s meeting at the Palace of Moncloa, she noted that the Popular Party will become a «lifeline» for Sánchez, providing him with a new «breath of fresh air,» which she has described as a scam and a deception by the PP towards citizens. In her view, this represents the political «pinza» that the PP is performing with the PSOE.
