Zelensky accuses Russia of delaying negotiations and expects more prisoner exchanges.

Geneva/Kiev (EFE).- This Wednesday, the President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky, stated that Russia is hindering the progress of the peace negotiations that began yesterday in Geneva, where representatives from Kiev, Moscow, and Washington are meeting. Zelensky is hopeful that agreements will be reached regarding the exchange of prisoners and civilians held during the meetings. The delegations from Russia and Ukraine began their second day of negotiations this Wednesday, with the involvement of the United States, aiming to end the conflict that both countries have faced for almost four years, according to a Russian diplomatic source. The delegation sent by Moscow arrived at the hotel where the negotiations are taking place, where they met with the delegations from Ukraine and the United States, who are also staying in the same location. Ukraine confirmed that political and military issues related to this conflict, as well as humanitarian matters, were discussed, and that these topics will continue to be addressed today.
